Pricing that matches your deployment

Pricing is based on deployment model, users, and usage volume, not per-document schemes that penalise you for using the platform.

How pricing works
  • Deployment: SaaS or private in your tenant
  • Users: number of people with access
  • Usage band: ingestion volume + query volume
  • Support: standard vs priority
Procurement docs (DPA, subprocessors, security pack) are available on request.

Choose a starting point

Most teams start with a pilot, then roll into SaaS or private deployment once value is proven.

Recommended start
Design Partner Pilot
Fixed-scope engagement to prove value on real documents and workflows, with security review support. Designed to convert into ongoing SaaS or private deployment.
NZD $15k
4–8 weeks (fixed scope)
  • Defined use case + measurable success criteria
  • Deployment path agreed upfront (SaaS or Private)
  • Ingestion + retrieval tuned to your content and workflows
  • Security pack + procurement support as needed
After the pilot, we typically roll into SaaS or private deployment with pricing aligned to rollout scope and support needs.
SaaS
Hosted by Aveya for the fastest time-to-value. Best for teams that want governed intelligence without running infrastructure.
NZD $2.5k / month
Typical mid-market: NZD $5–8k / month (20–50 users, moderate usage)
  • Tenant isolation + role-based access
  • Standard support and monitoring
  • Governed ingestion + verified answers (citations)
  • Upgrade path to private deployment
Best when you want to move quickly and security requirements don’t mandate tenant-side deployment.
Private deployment
Deployed inside your Azure tenant. Best for regulated environments and security-first teams that need control over network, identity, and data residency.
NZD $5k / month
+ implementation from NZD $20k
  • Runs in your tenant (you control identity + network)
  • Private networking options where required
  • Data residency and security posture aligned to your standards
  • Enterprise rollout and security review support
Note: Pricing covers platform licensing and support. Azure infrastructure costs (compute, storage, search, model usage) are billed directly to your Azure subscription and vary by usage. Typical Azure infra: NZD $1.5–4k / month depending on usage.
Small teams?
Starter Access is a lower-commitment way to get value fast, intentionally limited, easy to cancel, and designed for teams still living in spreadsheets.

Implementation & scope

Pilots and private deployments include an implementation phase to deploy, connect sources, and validate security requirements.

What’s included
  • Deployment and environment setup
  • Source ingestion and indexing configuration
  • Access controls and identity integration (where required)
  • Success criteria and rollout plan
We confirm scope upfront, no surprise work.
Timelines & add-ons
  • Pilot: 4–8 weeks (scoped)
  • Private deployment: 2–6 weeks (depends on networking, identity complexity, and security review depth)
  • SaaS: days to start (implementation optional)
Scoped separately: Custom connectors, advanced integrations, bespoke networking/security requirements, and dedicated success management.
Partner / OEM track: If you bring distribution, implementation capability, or a vertical workflow, we’ll structure pricing around delivery + revenue share.

Common questions

Do you charge per document?
No. Pricing is based on deployment, users, and usage band. We don’t price on “documents uploaded” as the main lever.
Do you train models on our content?
No. Your documents and conversations are processed to answer your queries, they’re not used to train Aveya models or third-party foundation models.
Can we start in SaaS and move private later?
Yes. Many teams start fast, then migrate once security and governance requirements mature. We can scope migration as part of the upgrade path.
Do you provide a DPA and subprocessor list?
Yes, available on request. We’ll provide procurement documentation as part of evaluation or pilot.
Want a straight answer on cost?
Send your use case, deployment preference (SaaS vs private), and rough user count. We’ll reply with a realistic range.
